Yesterday we had my baby shower. This was such an awesome experience. There were so many people there, 72! I was so nervous that not many would show up because Christmas and New Years being so close to my shower. I was so happy when everyone came. It made it so much fun!
Since my mom lives out of town my mother-in-law Kim had to pretty much put my whole shower together herself. Of course I had a ton of ideas but it was Kim that pulled together the location and all of the details. I am so thankful for her help and involvement throughout the entire process.
My mom came in on the Thursday before my shower. She lives in Louisiana and hadn’t seen me pregnant yet. It was such an awesome reunion. I couldn’t run and jump on her like I usually do but when we hugged she cried and so did I. I thought she was never going to let me go. We spent the next few days buying last minute things for the shower, re-arranging the nursery, creating the super cute bedskirt that was also used at the shower and then unpacking all of the gifts from the shower and organizing them in the nursery. My sister-in-law, Jodi, and mother-in-law, Kim, also help unpack and organize the nursery the night after my shower.
My shower was decorated so cute and the food was very yummy. I was so excited how everything looked so awesome and how the theme came together so well. I am also very thankful for all the wonderful gifts that all of my guests brought. I’ve never seen so many baby things in my life. I know I was having to be clued in on what some of the items were, haha! I hope you enjoy these images from my shower.
Thank you to Chelsea Miller, one of my interns, for taking these beautiful images of my baby shower.
